Welcome to the first installment of Mothers With a Mission. I am so glad you are here and I hope you plan to check in often because I am so looking forward to linking arms with you in this journey of motherhood. As the mother of four, ages seven to nineteen, I have experienced the tears and the joys, the disappointments and the rewards of being a mommy. I have had those days when I could smile because I “got it right” and I have had those nights of plaguing doubts and fears. Through it all, I know I could not have done it and can not continue to do it alone. I am grateful for those who came alongside me and offered everything from practical help in the kitchen, to a word of encouragement on tough days, to a safe place to have a meltdown (lots of those in my case). If any of those things sound like something you’d appreciate, then let’s stick together. Any time you have a coffee break, I’d love for you to join me and maybe we’ll both be better for it.
